"w3m-inu" seems another version of w3m? No, w3m-inu is my personal developer's release of w3m by integrating various patches which are mainly posted to w3m-dev ML and w3m-dev-en ML. But some people are seem to believe that it is semi-official version. ;-)
w3m-inu is released irregularly. But I'm trying to update it as soon as possible when major bug and/or security hole is discovered. Bug reports of w3m-inu are welcome to w3m-dev-en@mi.med.tohoku.ac.jp (you need subscription before posting a mail to the ML) or w3m-note (webBBS: mainly written in Japanese).
The official versions of w3m are released from aito-san: original author of w3m. I don't know whether the next release of w3m is similar to w3m-inu or entirely different.

w3m-0.2.5 is the current release of w3m. w3m-inu for version 0.2.5 is not ready.
