www.w3m.org is *too old* and is not official.
Also, the author's official english homepage is old.
However, I heard that the author is preparing the new homepage.

Now, the current semi-official version of w3m is released on
  http://mi.med.tohoku.ac.jp/~satodai/w3m/inusrc/index.html
(This page is written in Japanese. Sato-san, do you have a plan of
 english page ?)
The latest version is w3m-0.2.1-inu-1.4 [w3m-dev-en 00596].
  http://mi.med.tohoku.ac.jp/~satodai/w3m/inusrc/200109/w3m-0.2.1-inu-1.4.tar.gz
It is semi-official, but I expect every developers use it.
If you find a bug of the older version (w3m-0.2.1, w3m-0.1.10, etc.),
please use w3m-0.2.1-inu-1.4 before you send your bug report.
I believe *many* bugs were already fixed.

Thank you,
